The local coffee community is set to gather once again as KapeCon 2026 officially announces its highly anticipated return. Organized by Coffee Home Brewers (CHB), the largest and most engaged grassroots coffee organization in the country with over 67,000 members, this year’s convention will take place on October 10-11, 2026. Set along Paseo de Roxas in Makati once again, the event promises to once again be the LARGEST coffee education and promotion event in the country that’s COMPLETELY FREE.
Following the massive success of the inaugural KapeCon last year, which drew an astounding 15,000 attendees over its two-day run, this year's event is significantly expanding its footprint. Organizers anticipate an even more historic turnout for 2026.
“The best thing about Kapecon is it provides an accessible platform for coffee enthusiasts of all persuasions, from amateur coffee lovers to professional coffee entrepreneurs to connect, share knowledge, or simply hang out and enjoy each other’s company,” shares CHB founder, Rosario Juan.
Recognizing that coffee is deeply intertwined with daily life, KapeCon is integrating an exciting array of coffee and coffee-adjacent sponsors and partners. This expansion transforms the convention from a specialty trade showcase into a comprehensive cultural experience, seamlessly bridging the gap between coffee professionals, everyday home brewers, and broader lifestyle enthusiasts.
Attendees can expect a packed weekend of high-energy events and immersive experiences. A major highlight returning to the main stage are unique coffee competitions like Kape’t Kamay, where creative brewers team up while literally coupled together while battling for the top spot. The weekend will also feature exclusive tasting sessions highlighting unique origins, interactive brewing workshops, and direct-trade showcases designed to foster connections between the public and Philippine coffee producers.
